David Mata serves as a program leader for El Camino for the Brilla Schools Network. In this role, he supports and leads the Seton Teaching Fellows in their instructional and professional development. Prior to this role, David served as a Seton Teaching Fellow in cohort eight. Born and raised in North Platte, Nebraska, David is the oldest of three boys. David is a University of Nebraska at Omaha graduate with a degree in economics. After graduating, he immediately felt the drive to work for Catholic education and loved Seton’s mission. David enjoys playing soccer, reading, writing poetry, playing chess, listening to R&B music, and watching the Denver Broncos in his free time.
