Brilla Tagline log

Fellows teach or provide small group or individual student services support at Brilla College Prep, a high-achieving public charter school. Brilla aims to develop the whole child through strong character formation paired with a well-rounded liberal arts education and a classroom-based blended learning model that delivers differentiated instruction. Grounded in the cardinal virtues of courage, wisdom, justice, and self-control, Brilla scholars, as the Spanish translation of the name suggests, are challenged to shine as beacons of hope. Seton Teaching Fellows play a vital role in the Brilla community.

Fellows teach catechism or specials classes at the El Camino Faith and Enrichment Extended Day Program, which seeks to serve disadvantaged children who do not have the means to attend Catholic schools. The goal of El Camino is to help disciples to know and love Christ better, grow in virtue, achieve academic success, and have fun. Seton Teaching Fellows drive the success of El Camino to pair in-school academic support with a fun extended day program that offers faith lessons, character development, art, sports and games, and homework help.
