Fund the cost of a future Seton Teaching Fellow
"Fellows sign up to love."
Many of us had a guide who introduced us to the faith, who “shared the Good News.” But the children we serve would not have a such a guide if it were not for the Seton Teaching Fellows. Fellows are “modern-day missionaries” who bring the living Gospel and the beauty of the Catholic faith to children and families in underserved communities. It costs $50,000 to house, train, form, mentor and support each Fellow so they can be fully at the service of the children they serve.
Will you join together with alumni, family, friends and supporters to fund a Fellow?
The Impact of a Fellow

Read this story from Cohort 8 Fellow, Mr. David Mata (pictured above with his disciple, Jaden), on the impact of a Fellow.
I have a story about my scholar and disciple Jaden Solano. Jaden, at the beginning of the year, had the lowest reading level in his class. So every morning Jaden and I would read. We would wr-ee-t, r-ea-d, read and read and read and read. Very slowly but the determination and diligence has paid off. He has jumped from a 1st grade reading level to a 3rd grade reading level in 5 months and is on pace to catch up to his fourth-grade classmates. Jaden recently joined my El Camino class and now we spend the beginning of the day together preparing for the state test and the last part of the day together talking about faith.
Last month he handed me a note with a scripture verse written on it: Romans 5:3-5.
“Not only that, but we even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance, and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.”
Jaden realized through El Camino how his setbacks with reading produced endurance, which has given him the hope he needs to persevere! We pray you are as inspired as Jaden is and invite you to be a part of making this kind of transformation possible.
We invite you to become a monthly supporter. When it comes to the formation of souls, even a small gift can have eternal rewards. Thank you for helping ensure boys and girls have a Fellow to help them become young men and women of faith and integrity.
Our Fellows have been the catalyst of more than 214 baptisms. Want to see more of this impact in action? Read some of our many articles featuring Fellows and disciples!
