Santa Rita de Cascia Parish and Brilla Public Charter Schools partnered to help low-income families with weekly distributions of food, personal care items, and sanitary products, writes the Bronx Times in the article “Nonprofit provides relief to south Bronx community.” Relief was also provided to increase access to remote learning by providing internet connection and computers for students. The funding was provided by the Queen Sofía Spanish Institute (QSSI).
