Ruby Amezquita is the senior director of talent & recruitment for the Brilla Schools Network. In this role, she works to support the chief talent officer to ensure that the Brilla Schools Network attracts and retains high-quality, mission-aligned talent year after year. Prior to joining the Seton team, Ruby served as a third-grade teacher at Santa Cruz Catholic School through the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education Teaching Fellows. She was a finalist for the Council on American Private Education Teacher of the Year Award in 2014. Ruby later worked in admissions and development for the Partnership Schools Network, where she served on the school team that hosted His Holiness, Pope Francis. She earned her bachelor of arts degree and a master’s degree in education from the University of Notre Dame. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, two dogs (Coco and Jellybean), and cheering on her beloved Irish.
