Fr. Michael Duffy

Chaplain

Fr. Michael F. Duffy serves as Seton's chaplain. He was ordained a priest by Bishop William Murphy on June 9, 2012 and serves as Associate Pastor in the Diocese of Rockville. Fr. Duffy graduated from Fordham University earning a bachelor's degree in philosophy and minor in theology. Immediately following completion of his bachelor's degree Fr. Duffy entered the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Lloyd Harbor. He graduated from the seminary with a master's degree in divinity as well as a master's degree in theology.

Fr. Duffy has many interests including the new evangelization and social media.  Fr. Duffy is active on Facebook, Twitter, and he has a blog entitled Father Where Art Thou? at the popular Patheos website. The blog is Fr. Duffy's response to the advice of then-Pope Benedict XVI, who has called on priests, religious and Catholic lay people to advance the new evangelization through new media -- a chance for the faithful to look at the Church through the eyes of a new priest, and hopefully find themselves, in the light of Christ, reflected back.
