Annemarie Bacich

El Camino Director, Brilla College Prep Elementary

Annemarie Bacich is the director of El Camino at the Brilla Elementary School campus.  Annemarie is a veteran high school teacher with nearly twenty years of experience in Catholic schools across the country. Most recently, she served as Christian service coordinator and theology teacher at Notre Dame Academy High School in Los Angeles. Prior to her work at NDA, Annemarie taught high school Spanish and English and served as a vice principal and curriculum director in both coed and single-sex Catholic high schools on the East and West Coasts. During her graduate work in romance language and literature at UC Berkeley, she taught Italian and Spanish to undergraduate students and adult learners. While completing her master’s degree in education at the Klingenstein Center for Independent and International School Leaders at Columbia University, she interned at Cristo Rey New York High School’s admissions office. She received a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of San Francisco, graduating with a diploma from the St. Ignatius Institute, a Great Books program in the classical tradition. Annemarie is a member of the lay pontifical association, Memores Domini, and currently lives in community in Bronxville, New York.
